Unified Team Diving and  UTD Watersports Training Refund Policy

It has always been UTD's policy that you pay for training, but earn certification.

As a policy, there are no refunds for any training purchase if you cancel within 72 hours of the start of your class. A 50% refund of tuition only can be offered if you cancel more than 72 hours before start of your class. UTD does not offer 100% refund for any reason. If UTD cannot meet your expectations during training, please alert the quality control department at info@unfiiedteamdiving.com. If we cannot fix the problem within three business days of your request, the training portion (only) of your course may be refunded. Please note, any course materials included in the price of your training will be deducted from your refund as these materials can be reused elsewhere. Once training is started or within 72 hours of start of class there are no refunds. Refunds will not be given for failing to receive certification.

Rescheduling Your Training at UTD

Training is a limited commodity. UTD is committed to low training ratios and does not over-book its classes. Our commitment to the highest level of quality training and safety is our number one goal. When you schedule a class, pool, or open water training session, you are prohibiting another customer from booking or reserving that spot. Once you schedule your class, pool, and/or open water training sessions, you may cancel and/or reschedule your training sessions as long as you have three days / 72 hours notice. If you have less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours and we can fill your spot, then there is no penalty. Within 24 hours of the start of your session there will be a $150 cancellation fee. Not showing up for a session will be the same as canceling within 24 hours. Appeals to this policy may only be sent, in writing, to info@unfiiedteamdiving.com.

Cancellations due to weather will be at the discretion of your instructor and will not incur any financial penalties.

Remedial Training Policy

If you do not meet the minimum requirements for earning certification or completing a portion of your training to move forward to certification, you will be notified in writing by the Instructor and/or UTD management. UTD management and executives not involved in your training have NO influence on that decision.
